Anavar, HGH & Birth Control Pills

As recommended I’m re-posting this in the steriods forum… anyone???

Can you take birth control pills (tri-nesa AKA ortho tri cycline)if you are also taking HGH and/or Anavar?

I’m considering a “life extension” dose of the HGH (5 days on 2 off of Somatroin)and 6 weeks of anavar .5 ml 3xper week.

Any recommendations on doses?
Comments on your experiences? I’d really like to hear the real truth.

Don’t worry I’m also going to ask my doctor… but I was hoping to get the scoop from the gals here.

Post this in the steriod forum if you want answers. I doubt the women in this forum have the knowledge you’re looking for.

Anavar and HGH will not effect the contraceptive properties of the BC pill. I would not use antiestrogens, though (Nolvadex) as they could cause problems.

As Yo Momma said, the HGH and Anavar won’t interact with the Ortho Tri-Cyclen. I’m not sure about the HGH dosing for women, but the Anavar can be run at a dose of 10mg/day with little chance of side effects (virilization).

You didn’t mention it, but Yo Momma did. To clarify, taking an anti-estrogen like Nolvadex (tamoxifen citrate) or Clomid (clomiphene citrate) could alter the effect of the contraceptive. While these drugs only compete with estrogen at the receptor, and the efficacy of hormonal contraceptives lies primarily with progestins, the contraceptive ability should remain in tact. Many birth control pills use only progestins. However, to be on the safe side I would avoid these drugs. I mention this only because in researching anabolic steroid use for women you will likely see anti-estrogens mentioned.

Is the anavar you’ve got access to liquid? I’ve read it can be tough to get it to stay in suspension-- it tends to crash often. Or did you mean .5mg (milligrams)?

Why would you use the var only 3x per week? Is that recommended for women? I ask because var has a pretty short half life of 8-9 hours, which means your levels would be fluctuating a LOT over the course of a week. If I understand correctly, the anabolic effects are seen best if you keep steady levels.

Plus, speaking from very limited personal experience, the effects of var weren’t fully apparent until a few weeks in. There were some immediate things, but the strength and fat loss took a while.

Thanks for the “how birth control pills work” refresher course.

My dr. concurred with the same info you all gave.

The dose I have for the anavar is 25 mg. It’s injectable and dosed at 50 mg/cc, so I’m taking 1/2 cc every other day. That didn’t get worded quite right on the first post.

I didn’t see many posts about women on this board using HGH, anavar or other steroids. I’ll be happy to recap my experiences as I have some to any other interested gals.

Where did you read this? I’d be interested see more on this. Do you think that this is why Liquid Anavar is/can be less expensive than tabs?

i would be very leary of injecting any liquid anavar preparation. I would be curious to know who prepared it. I would strongly suggest 1/4 cc per day orally instead, if it is indeed accurately dosed, which i doubt.

its less expensive because you don’t have to cap the powder or buy a tablet press, you just mix it up as a oral suspension or prepare a solution with an oil base.

I see… Thanks. Have you seen or heard of it being less effective because of the reasons stated above?

if dosed accurately (big if) it should be perfectly equivalent

I’ve never ever ever seen injectable anavar, at all. Does that mean it doesnt’ exist? No, but I’d HIGHLY reccomend you letting us know who makes it before you inject it. BTW, the good thing about liquid orals is that you can adjust your doseage much better then if you have a tab or a capsule. If it falls out of solution just heat it up a little and shake it, no big deal imo.

back in the day Proline made it but the consensus was it sucked, that was right before he walked with alot of money.

Don’t want to hijack this lady’s thread, but a few of the more technical homebrew forums have numerous threads about trouble getting anavar to stay suspended. Don’t get me wrong-- it can be done with the right chemicals, but it’s not like some AAS where you can brew 'em up with some Everclear and be on your way.

Some folks use Everclear with var but you have to stay with lower concentrations per ml.
