Anavar and Drug Testing for Powerlifting Comp

I never said it’s not medically wise to use steroids. I said the only time I saw it being wise was if it was medically necessary. I also added in athletes making millions later on.

don’t you use steroids? Isn’t that why you’re in this part of the forum?

Yes I do. I use them for medical purpose (TRT). I had my test levels checked over two years ago. First time total levels were at 339. I was feeling “off”; not right in the head - very foggy and very low energy and suicidal. Went back 6 months later because I was feeling worse. This time went to a hormone/diabetes specialist and levels were down to 270 so I was put on TRT. I have to do it. I don’t have a choice. I feel 100%+ better now.

There’s really nothing good about being dependent on a drug. You are married to it whether you wanna be or not. Believe me, if I could just be natural I’d be much better off.

There are great positives about being on, but I also know that there are negatives as well that build over time.

Let’s just put it this way, the little amount you took - even as a female - makes very little difference anyway. Unless you have a certain look or are putting up certain numbers that are suspect, I wouldn’t worry.

There are MANY who compete in tested meets - do drugs - and pass when tested.

Plus, it ain’t like they’re gonna throw you in jail. Who cares what everyone else thinks about it?

BUT… be prepared for whatever consequences come your way if you do get caught. And as a young female lifter who doesn’t medically need those drugs, it’s not wise.

Yes you did read your last sentence

Either way it goes the op doesn’t need to be competing in Drug Tested meets because she is not drug free end of story

Ok, maybe I’m not reading this right so I’ll clarify it.

Unless you have a medical reason to take anabolic steroids, it is not a wise decision.

thanks for the clarification. That’s how I understood it in the first place.

But it still has nothing to do with competing in a drug tested competition. And it still doesn’t apply to the OP, who doesn’t plan on using again.

and let’s not forget that using steroids, although obviously unwise, is awesome. Everyone on this forum has made the decision to do so, and is obviously comfortable with the risks, so saying that it’s unwise is asinine. I don’t mean that as a dig at you Osu, just that if we are telling people who come to this forum not to use steroids, then what the hell’s the point of the forum?

But that’s not what this thread is about. It’s about someone using them to cheat, which is wrong. Use steroids if you want, but don’t be a dick and use them to give you an unfair advantage over people who don’t. It’s that simple.

I think they’re awesome too, but being that it is a steroid forum - is the forum here only to say how awesome they are or can there be discussion about all of it? Does everyone that visits here do them or is it just for users only? It is a “steroid forum” w/o bias in the title.

Part of what I said had something to do w/ what the OP said. It’s the other part that others have taken offense to that was targeted. I don’t think I have to only comment on just competing aspect of it if I have an opinion about the positives or negatives about taking them as well.

It’s not as if the OP was talking about competing in a powerlifting meet and I started in on how bodybuilding or crossfit or some other strength type sport rules - that at least is off topic.
