I am not new to the forums, I just try not to post crap, but need to participate more for sure.
Anyhow, years ago i wanted to try the anabolic diet but at 30% bodyfat and ZERO training experience i would have been an idiot to do it.
I did straight keto for months and months, and have done ultimate diet in between.
So, TLDR version is do i NEED the do the maintenance phase of the diet or can I just jump into my deficit phase?
This is a cut i want to do, and if i can start to cut while i get ketone adapted, i would prefer it a LOT more to messing around with maintenance.
As I understand it, the maintenance phase is to ensure you are not MISERABLE on the transition to ketones.
