Anabolic Diet Log

I hope I’m doing this right, I’ve cut out all carbs except for a little BBQ sauce and my veggies. No breads, fruits, sugars…etc

Age: 36
Weight: 178
Waist: 36in
BF %: 17.8

So this is what I had today, please let me know if I’m off track:

Breakfast:
3 eggs
2 slices of cheddar cheese
4 strips of bacon
Greens and whey protein shake with a little metamucil (3-4g carbs)

Lunch:
A few slices of cucumber, some sliced green/red peppers, some lettuce and a little red onion (a few carbs?)
4 chicken wings
1 cup of BBQed pork (a small amount of BBQ sauce)
2 strips of fatty beef

Snack:
Slice of colby cheese

Dinner:
Sirloin steak
3 slices of grilled eggplant basted in olive oil and garlic
4 capsules of Flameout

For a bedtime snack I will have a low-carb protein shake (1g of carbs)

So does it seem like my carb intake is low enough?

thanks

Up the protein intake on that snack. Just a slice of cheese?

carb intake looks fine. What are your training goals with this? With the amount of food I’d assume bulking, but I could easily be wrong…

Just trying to burn fat, get my BF down.

weights 3 times a week
cardio twice a week

I think I did eat too much today, I feel bloated, that steak at dinner was huge. I am going to knock it down a few calories tomorrow

I don’t think so man. That looks to be around 2500 cals for the whole day.

Well as long as I’m not fucking up the carbs in the induction period lol

are you going to start a new thread for each day?

You might want to up your fibrous green veggies, broccoli, celery, cucumber and spinach.

and if need be you might want to consider some psyllium husks for fiber

No I’m just going to update this one. Thanks for the advice, upping veggies is no problem for me, I love them!

I have been taking some metamucil but am going to get a better fiber supplement with flax in also

2nd day had:

went to gym did back and legs
post-workout protein shake

Lunch:
salad with lottsa blue cheese, balsamic vinegar and olive oil
spicy chicken wings
Beef ribs

Snack:
chicken breast with skin
thick slice of colby cheese

Dinner:
polish and italian sausage at ballpark (no buns or condiments obv)

Also Flameout throughout the day

Well definitely am super tired today despite a good nights sleep

Day 3:

Felt very sluggish most of the day

Breakfast:

4 eggs

Stayed up late and got really hungry, so I ate a chicken breast with skin with some mustard and hot sauce, it was very tasty and satisfying

Hope to get over the sluggish hump this weekend

Well I haven’t been keeping a log mainly because the diet has become second nature to me…it’s actually easy once you get used to it.

Still in induction phase, but I think I have made the transition. Yesterday was day 6 and had a very heavy bench day, 15 sets maxing at 205 and didn’t tire at all and got through the last 20 reps (burnout) no problem. Pretty amazing for no substantial carb intake for 6 days.

My weight has basically remained the same, actually dropped a few pounds. Haven’t done any measurements, going to wait a few weeks for that.

Great diet though, I think it’s working.

Looking forward to first carb up this weekend, peanut butter and jelly sandwich is on the menu.

Still chugging along on this diet, although my induction period was only 10 days, I’m doing a 6 day no-carb period after my initial carb up which was only 24 hours. So I think I’m on track.

Initially lost about 2 lbs, and have been holding steady since. Am going to wait until I’m about 4-5 weeks into it before doing another caliper measurement.

Yesterday was tough, I did a high rep uperbody lifting session then 1.5 hours of Jujitsu at night. I was really exhausted after wards. I think I’m going back to Krav-Maga, I like it better.

I’m seeing more veins in my arms, even when resting…a good sig me thinks.

This morning’s breakfast, dont think I will ever get sick of eggs and bacon:

Try mixing things up with that breakfast?

Scramble some eggs, crumble in some cooked bacon and stir in some cheese?
