Starting this log to keep a better track on what I’m doing… I am 25, been training on and off since my mid teens but looking to really commit to this. Stand 182cm tall and weigh in at a rather chubby 99kg.

My last set of workouts I got 5 reps @ 57.5 for Press, 5 @ 180 for Deadlift, 4 @ 87.5 for Bench and 7 @ 135 for my squat.
Ideally I’d like to stick to this programme for the year and see where it takes my maxes, I have a pretty physical job (steel erector) and play rugby too.
I train before work so my diet looks like this…
4.40am - 1 pint milk, banana, 5g creatine, 10 BCAA tablets
5am - workout
6am - 50g whey protein
10am - bacon and eggs
2pm - meat and vegetables
6pm - 50g whey protein
7pm - meat and vegetables
Felt really tired this morning, not been sleeping great partly due to some bad news I received a couple of days ago, was happy with my workout because I thought it was going to super suck when I walked in the gym…
This felt good, had a big feed over the weekend and plenty of sleep which always helps, feels a long time since I had 60kg overhead. Looking forward to getting onto deadlifts tomorrow morning!
