I’m training to increase my vertical jump as well as overall athletism for basketball. Ive been training and my legs have gotten alot stronger and ive gained alot of mass. What i was wondering is now im doing skill work 4-5 times a week, and well as light plyos and running, and agility drills 2xs a week. Would it be ok to do 2 lowerbody lifting days that would look like this-
A
Squats 4-5 sets 6-8 reps
Glute Hams 4 sets 6 reps
Toe Raises 3 sets 15 reps
B
Snatch Deads 3-4 sets 6 reps
Glute Ham 3-4 sets 6 reps
Toe Raises 3 sets 15 reps
The reason for toe raises is i feel they help my ankles alot.
Im 6’8" and the only exercises that really help me are the big compound lifts especially when it comes to building some mass.
