Does anyone have experience with Alwyn Cosgrove’s Afterburn programs?
Bought it. Not impressed.
From another post (By fnf):
" Hey all,
Just wanted to do a quick review of some bodybuilding material I have and one might find useful.
AFTERBURN, by Alwyn Cosgrove:
If you have read any of the German Bodycomp programs by Poliquin, or Meltdown by Alessi, you have an idea of what’s inside. Few differences, exercises utilizing stability balls, bodyweight exercises and a complete 16wk nutrition program. He tells you how to drop calories and why. Also, a meal plan for each of the “blocks” of training. 9 out of 10"
I’ve also bought Afterburn. It’s pretty good - I’d give it a 7/10. It’s NOT a theory manual - it’s a straight up 16 week periodized program. If you’re already lean - forget it, but if you’re looking to REALLY drop some fat, it’s aa worthwhile investment.
It covers cardio, weight training and nutrition and is well worth the $39.
