Alternative to SGHP Due to Shoulder Injury?

Hi,

18 week shoulder injury but well improved. Tendons intact but query long bicep fluid or inflammation.

I feel the SGHP is not good for it atm but was thinking snatch or clean grip shrugs /low pulls may be an alternative.

I would also do some dedicated lateral deltoid work as they wouldn’t get the stimulation from the high pull portion.

Thoughts? Does this look ok?

Dave

low pulls work. I also find that single-arm (barbell) deadlifts provide a very solid traps and upper back stimulation.

Yes

Thanks very much for the fast reply!

Should I add some lateral raises or leave them till after the pressing days for a few sets - I’ve just started the Layer system btw.
