My question: Do you think it would be smart for a class 2/class 1 intermediate level powerlifter to tweak the westside pl template in such a way that the focus changes from week to week from ME and DE days to ME and Rep method days?..Alternatively, could a lifter spend a month or so training the squat/deadlift and bench with ME and DE days, and then the next month replace DE work with rep method work for structural gains? At what point do you think speed work becomes essential for a powerlifter? Is it entirely individual, or are there some general guidelines in your view? Once again, my sincerest thanks!
