What are your goals with this workout?

I think it’s… pretty stupid.

What’s the rationale behind any of this?

To be quite honest, it seems like a waste of a bench and a rack. I cant say that i see a benefit to doing this at all. What were you trying to achieve with this?

I’ll admit I did something like this once (It was early in my training days), and only once. I got sick (fever) and decided I would never do it again.

If it works for you and you are getting stronger, good, keep doing it. But at 6’2" 190 lbs I don’t think it’s working too well. What is your actual layout throughout the week?

umm do you not see what poundages he is using…it’s very believable.

this belongs in the conditioning forum to be honest

prior to that 40 he would have done 63… so he did 103 DL’s and 103 BP’s in one workout??? Thats pretty wild. Even with low weights (OP does only weigh 190)

I’m getting lower back and shoulder pain reading this. . .

x2. Shooting in the dark here…TBT?

I reckon it would be a good way of stripping fat and would burn alot of calories. Nothing like heavy compound movements to increase metabolism and your v02max max.

it’s not bodybuilding or strength training but probably good for conditioning.

so crossfit, gotta get me some too (hold on?!..)
