I will be going to basic training in August. Is anyone on this site currently in the Air Force or has been in??? If so, you can give me some fun info, whatever it may be. If not, thats cool too.
I’m not sure what you’re looking for but I was in the USAF a long time ago. Basic training is a breeze…all head games. Just listen to the Training Instructor and move as fast as you can while obeying them. Stay away from assholes as you can get booted out for fighting. The physical portion is easy too. Morning calistenics with a short run (in formation), classes in the afternoon with some time in between for meals and cleaning the barracks.
You’ll be amazed at how many people fail or are afraid and miss thier parents, etc.
I hope you got a permanent job classification when you signed up, otherwise you may be in for a surprise when you get your school assignment.
Enjoy the trip, it’ll be what you make out of it. You have the opportunity to see tons of stuff and do lots of things.
