AI With Deca?

if you are taking deca what would be the best thing to take that inhibits progesterone?

Bromocriptine and cabergoline do. They’re not AIs though. I don’t believe there are any AIs that will lower prolactin.

Oh, progesterone. I thought you said prolactin. Sorry.

Reducing estrogen will reduce prolactin, but no where near what dopamine agonists like Bromo and Caber can. In severe cases of hyperprolactimia an AI will be prescribed in addition to a dopamine agonist.

For Deca though, an AI isn’t necessary. Definitely go with Bromcriptine or Cabergoline.

If you want to go the milder route, Vitex and vitamin B6 may work.

Progesterone and prolactin levels are positively related. When one goes up the other one does as well. Same advice holds.

Does anyone else vouch for Vitex as an effective method for dealing with prolactin? I have read it in several articles but have not heard any real world stories in which Vitex was used with success.

a few people in T-Nation said to take 200mg vitamin b-6 before bed
