So, i don’t know about the rest of you here at the Nation, but I have a hard time downing Whey protein. For some reason it kinda makes me gag. But what am I gonna do…not drink protein? No whey! (heh)
So I’m in my kitchen having a snack of celery smeared with organic peanut butter when I decide to add a shake into the mix. Nothing fancy, just whole milk mixed with a scoop of GROW! Whey. Usually I have to hold my nose or stop breathing for a little while so I don’t put the protein back in the cup, but something was different this time.
After some deliberation I came to the conclusion that the peanut butter that had glazed my mouth and my throat kept me from being able to fully taste the shake. I downed that sucker no problem.
So, in conclusion, my advice to all of you who have trouble downing a shake is to try adding a little peanut butter into the mix before you start your shake. Good luck to all!! Let me know how it works out for ya!!
