Agglomerated Egg Albumin

A bunch of the guys on my speedskating team are taking Lee Labrada’s Pro V60 protein powder. My spidey sense tells me that its a bullshit product. I looked at the ingredients and the 4 forms of protein include (in order): “Unique Blend of Micro Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Concentrate, Agglomerated Egg Albumin, Calcium Caseinate, Micro Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Isolate, Ion Exchange Whey Protein Isolate” (wheew, I’m shak’en in me boots)

The only protein there that I’ve never really heard of is agglomerated egg albumin. I was wondering if you guys know anything about it.

I searched Google and found the following…
“agglomerated”

This is a fancy word to mean that the protein molecules are of different sizes so that they fold right into solution with little stirring for maximum absorption.

“Most MRP’s or at least the proteins in them are “agglomerated” which means they go through a process which makes them easier to mix in liquid.”
