Advice for D-Bol Cycle?

How's it goin! New the the site so I'll give some stats
22yrs old
184lbs
11-12% bf
Training on point for about 2 years everything before that I considered fetus stage of training.
I've dabbled with pro hormones when I was younger and stupid to get an "edge" just ended up with a limp dick and minor gyno (which I laid into with letro successfully)
Recently completed a 10 week test cyp only cycle 400mgs/wk 1 pin on Sunday's. Did very well was taking in 245-260g protein
650g carb
80-100g fat

Got up to 191 at 14% so I decided to cut down a bit after pct of nolva 40/40/20/20 followed by 3 months off
Thinking of starting a d-Bol only cycle because my girl hates needles and doesn't wanna see me deal with that stuff anymore. Looked into discussions and there's a lot of mixed reviews. Given my recent cycles would I have any benefit with a bulking cycle for 6 weeks of 30mg a day of dbol?

How much were your total gains from your test cyp cycle?

I’ve always been against oral only cycles b/c test is god.

Girl hating needles seems like a weak excuse to not pin.

Wow, lots of hate for the girlfriend hahaha and no one said cutting I don’t think? But no the test cyp was fine I was a bitch about t400 to be honest actually so I took 1 shot of that and wanted to kill myself cuz I couldn’t walk for 2 days lol. But test cyp was good started it at 181 14-15% bf all lifts went up obviously. My max dead before cycle was 315x4 got it to 375x5 (always had bad form and been working hard on correcting it). So I’m guessing the consensus would be another test cycle either enth or cyp at 500mg/wk with a dbol kick start? Anyone have any experience with this? I’ve seen a lot of talk about it but not too many people post their final results or even mention how they felt with the dbol drop off. Thanks for the replys by the way. Honestly just like as much input as possible and trying to find my path with it all. Might just hide the pinning if it’s really that strong of a no no.

^ x2. Once on dbol you never want to stop it.

I ran a test prop/dbol cycle 8 weeks back in Dec-Jan and gained roughly 22lbs with a so-so diet. I was able to keep 18 so I think I did something right. You will love test+dbol just remember to run an AI and experiment with dbol dosage. Since it was my first cycle I ran prop only for a few weeks and my last 4 weeks added dbol tapering up from 20 to 40mg.

You guys think it would be better to run with prop or cyp personally? And I guess that’s a good way to put it “no one wants to come off” lol

To put it in perspective, I am on Cyp for TRT and I blasted for six weeks on Cyp from an UGL and didn’t see any gains. I switched to an UGL Prop from the same distributor and lab and noticed a big difference. Of course, at about six weeks, I also figured out that I needed to eat more and to do squats and deadlifts, so it might have been the routine change rather than the ester change, but I noticed a difference on Prop.

Moving forward, I doubt I will do any cycle without prop. The PIP can be a bitch, but I like the freedom of the short ester and I feel like I got better results than with Cyp. I like Cyp for TRT, but for blasting I would definitely stick with Prop.

Well I don’t think he was saying as a whole I think he meant in a 6 week blast in which the prop would be way more efficient. If that’s the case then I obviously agree but in general the ester shouldn’t change too much of the cycle length is proportionate to the ester in cycle. But thank you!

In context, this is my first cycle and your points are probably accurate. According to a powerlifter in Georgia, with respect to giving advice, he said, about himself, “I should probably shutup unless I honestly think I see something that can help” and that’s just what I was trying to do.

I was not suggesting that ester had anything to do with results and should have mentioned that I switched to Prop so I wouldn’t blow up a blood test I have for TRT in July. I was implying that my training and diet probably sucked the first six weeks and that it had more to do with that than with the switch to Prop.

I appreciate the rigorous nature of people examining my posts and typically try to open with some context - that I’m learning and not an expert. I am aware that I have little or no expertise relative to most guys here, but feel that my experiences may have some value for those, like me, that are trying to get better, and I am willing to share my experiences.

For cutting I think instead of dbol take a look at winny or var. Maybe I don’t know something that others do, but from reading stickies dbol’s primary application is for bulking. I’ve used winstrol for building quality mass, but it can go the other way too. Var is primarily for cutting.

Exactly. Neither D Bol nor Anavar nor Winstrol promote fat gain. All 3 promote strength gains. I think this particularly misunderstanding comes from the fact that bodyweight immediately goes up when taking dbol, due to water retention. but this has nothing to do with whether you’re trying to shed fat or not.

That’s a fair point to be made. So I guess another question of mine would be is dbol the only oral that people say you lose all your gains on or will you lose all gains on any oral without a test base? I recognize the test base is used for a longer time so your body has to time to adjust and maintain the bulk gains but that’s why it raises this question on the other compounds for me. Would taking any type of oral be all lost without test?

there’s nothing specifically about having a ‘test base’ that will help you keep gains.

I think people believe they’re losing gains when they go off d bol, what they’re really seeing is the lost strength that they had gained from excess water retention, along with the drop in water weight. So essentially, they didn’t make the gains they thought they had in the first place.

I don’t think the oral aspect is related to whether or not gains go away quickly. Generally speaking, over time you will lose most gains made on steroids, unless you keep running cycles. Some people lose them faster than others, probably because their diet and training goes to shit when they come off.
