Advanced Best Damn Program in Book Using Free Weights?



In your advanced version of the best damn program in your book I noticed that all the exercises were machine based variations (Smith bench instead of free weight) I assuming this is to keep them less demanding on the nervous system and perhaps have a better muscle contraction.

However is it possible to use full free weight compound movements for some lifts? Would you change the progression of intensity techniques at all?
