For those that have used an adjustable kettlebell (or self-made t-handle), is the width of a 25 pound weight plate (standard 1" diameter) too wide. Meaning will I have to spread my legs too wide? Looked at Rogue fitness for a 97 lb kettlebell, but $112 plus $147 shipping isn’t in the budget, but some additional 25 plates are (I have only 2 50 lbs-which would be too wide, 10’s, 5’s, 3’s and 2.5’s).
I have a t-handle I made from home depot pipe fittings. I have to step my stance out a little wider but it’s primarily due to the width of the handle rather than the 25lb plates.
