If i wanted to add some speed squats and maybe benches to a program such as Robertson’s designer athletes when would be a good time. I was thinking setsx2x50% squats after heavy pulls on thurs.
I think usually it is recommended to do speed work first.
If you are doing max effort days for squats then speed squat days are to their own on dynamic effort days. I don’t train for power lifting, I do an O-lift or a hybrid every lift day, and just started to toy with max effort day of deadlift and dynamic effort day of squats. As for bench again either have a max effort day and dynamic effort day or you can alter ME and DE week to week.
