Adding Cardio to My PL Routine

Hey guys I’m 14 and I have been powerlifting for 2 years and I always did very little cardio after my workouts but I’m starting my first year of high school and my brother went to this school and he is also a powerlifter and he told me that in p.e. we do 10m 40m 400m sprints and we run a mile and I’m wondering how I can add cardio to my workouts so I can keep up with my class and also I am trying to lose a little extra fat that is still on my body

I’m a fan of doing things like heavy carries, hill sprints, prowling push/pull, tire flips etc it’s more fun than running on a treadmill and will make you stronger

This. HIIT style condition will increase your endurance and work capacity while allowing you to stay lean, get jacked and fuck bitches. I mean ace your school work.

Kettle bell swings, battle ropes, etc. Do a 1:3 ratio of work:rest. So 15s on 45s off. Start at 5 minutes twice a week and work up to 3x10-20 minutes.

It shouldn’t affect your recovery too much if you start small and work at it over a 6-12 week progression.
