Adaptation Process?

Hi!

Could someone explain to me why sometimes when im stuck at progress and when i remove like 10kg this workout and put on 2,5 kg every next workout then i get to put on more weight than i removed at the first place.

Thanks for your time

Human body adapts to imposed stimulus (training) at a given pace/speed/rate, that changes according to many factors: age, nutrition, lifestyle, work capacity, etc…; after a while, however, the progression of your WO overcomes the rate of your body’s adaptation, that’s why you stall. When you reduce the load, you give your body more time to continue this adaptation.

Load progression isn’t the only one; you can progress/deload by adding/cutting reps to your sets or increasing/decreasing the number of sets.
