Had planned to do pull-ups and kettlebell pressing today, but we got a monster thunderstorm in the early afternoon so working outside was a no-go. Just did some easy pulls again. Hopefully dialing my sumo deadlift technique in with all this speed work at 335, so that’s good.
That was a doozy this afternoon, wasn’t it !?!

You ain’t kidding, as they say. We lost power around 1PM but luckily it came back on pretty fast, by 3PM or so. One of the harsher T-storms I’ve ever seen in the moment. I work in my bedroom facing the window & couldn’t help chuckling at how brutally it was coming down for a few minutes there.

I lost power too for a little bit too. Also couldn’t make it over to Jefferson for my workout. Too many trees and lines down.

The 485 deadlift felt good but pretty tough, so I decided not to chance it with one more. I think I’m good for 515 now, though. Maybe in the next few weeks I’ll crank it up & hit it.
