Pretty short - probably about 90 seconds, maybe 2 minutes by the heaviest rep or two of the day. I try to get most workouts done in 20 minutes or less (from the time I walk out into the garage until I’m walking back in) for my wife’s sake, since we have a young kid. On weekends I’ll stretch the workouts a little bit longer but even then I keep rest pretty short.

Duly inspired by The Mountain breaking the Elephant Bar Deadlift record at the Arnold this afternoon, I decided to pull heavy and was rewarded with the smoothest single I’ve pulled at 615. Video to follow.

Lol yup. It’s funny, on my trip to Brian Alsruhe’s gym, I did more volume in one session than I normally do in a week.
Also of note, my 8-months-postpartum wife has recovered just about all of her strength and squatted 175 for a good single today, just a few pounds off her alltime PR.
Now that is strong. Good job to your wife
