Very unique log and training style!

Love the simple home gym (at least from what I can see). I probably have the same setup: squat stand, barbell, plates and that’s it.

How did you come up with your training style? Have you noticed getting more muscular from doing so many 3’s, 2’s, 1’s?

Awesome log, will follow for sure.

Thanks man. Yup, that’s what I’ve got: a nice barbell, four pairs of 45-pound bumpers, four pairs of 15-pound bumpers (which I bought partly for my wife to use, and partly because I like making evenly spaced jumps between sets), squat stands, and an assortment of kettlebells (a 26, a 35, a pair of 44’s, a 53, and an 88). I’ve been dreaming of this for years, but I just got married last year and it took a little while for my wife and I to save up and get in a good position to buy our first home.

Ha, frankly, I just like being strong and I enjoy low reps more than I enjoy high reps. That’s really all there is to it. Not much thought, just started doing it and the results kept coming.

Have I gotten more muscular? Definitely. My legs and back are way more jacked than they’ve been in my lifetime. Have I gotten beach-level shredded? Not really, but that’s probably more of an issue with diet than it is the training. I eat “pretty clean” but still have a handful of indulgences that I probably will have to clean up if I ever want to get the hawt abz that all the physique guys have.

That sounds more like a dating site than a training log, lol.

Wait, isn’t that what we’re on though? Just a bunch of dudes begging to see shirtless pics of dudes to jerk off to? If not, I need to go pay a visit to a certain log and delete some things…

Short workout today - we have to drive to our hometown for my sister in law’s baby shower. Just enough to move some weight before getting on the road!

That’s a pretty decent clip versus your recent runs. Just decide to speed it up, or is there a method to the madness?

Sunday 8/27
