Activation Rest/Duration in Powerbuilding Training Program

In your Powerbuilding Training Program you recommend before main lift:

•On lower body days 2 sets of 30 second bike sprints

•And on upper body 2 sets of 45 second battle ropes

  1. How much rest should be taken between these?

  2. And is that duration a bit long and may accumulate fatigue rather than Activation?

2-4 minutes of rest depending on recovery capacities.

If two sets of battle ropes for 45 seconds creates too much fatigue for you to perform properly, you have REALLY poor conditioning or have the highest ratio of fast twitch fibers ever recorded. But if that stress you out, cut both to 10-12 seconds.
