Activating Hips and Glutes for Cleans

I’m basically only using my lower back and traps for cleans and am not getting my legs into the lift at all. What can I do to get my legs to activate prior to lifting?

Think about your hips rising evenly with your shoulders on the first pull.

think about actively pushing the ground away from you rather than pull the bar away from the ground with your back. It also depends on your set-up, and you positions throughout the lift.

Whenever I have someone with that problem, this cue fixes it immediately!!
