I hope you are right. I love me some great military movies. The Raid, Saving Private Ryan, and The Great Escape are just a few of my favs. Im judging the movie from the previews so I may be off.
The action scenes were cool and realistic but, the acting and script was awful. It looked like one of those military commercials just way to long.

My review of the movie is on the Movie thread. I LOVED the movie and would return in a heartbeat and watch it again and I say that very rarely.
The use of live ammo, the 5D cameras and genuine Navy SEALs made this movie special. The movies you mentioned above are certainly great ones and I like 'em too but this movie is significantly different from anything you’ve ever seen.

Well I may check it out instead of judging it by cover. Havent been to the movies in a few weeks so Ill make an excuse this weekend.
Got a cousin who is a SEAL, according to him there are a lot of mixed feelings on his team about the movie. He doesn’t like all the bravado, “we’re invincible badasses” stuff. Since Bin Laden and those two Syrian pirate ships, the SEALs are becoming rock stars of the military special forces community and some of the other groups are starting to resent it.

What man come on, shit I am a UT fan, I have been getting ass raped for like 7 years now.
I liked it. The acting sucked but the action as great and I have such an appreciation of all the Navy Seals and other military people that risk their lives for us everyday of the week.
