I was wondering if one of the Authors might comment on an appropriate abs training program to support a strength program.
The goal of the program is to (1) build core strength, and (2) have an impressive set of abs to show post-cutting?

Pilates.
Don’t forget to wear spandex tights.
(try the search function)
Alot of core strength comes naturally when doing heavy compound lifts so that is an obvious priority. My favorite?: Alternating heavy dumbell shoulder presses using enough weight so that you need to lean to the opposite side to maintain balance. Really hits the obliques. I think of David Barrs’ avatar everytime I do them.
And do a search before you ask the authors to write an article for you. It’s been done.
Thanks Kruiser.
Apologies for wasting the time of others - just a beginner and learning the ropes.
