Abs & Some Chest

I would first like to say hi, and this is my first post on these forums. Yes I read the first thread, but I have been working out for a little bit and I thought it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. I have been working out for a bout 3-4 months and I have been taking creatine monohyrdrate along with no-xplode. I work out Mon-Fri and I was on a toning routine. Mon - bis, tris Tues - legs Weds - chest, abs Thurs - back and Fri - shoulders. I have been on this routine a little longer than 2 months now and I wanted to try a bulking routine still working out 5 days a week. When I was toning I was running mon, weds, and fri also.

Right now I am
5’11
150 lbs, but I can never keep a consistent weight for some reason. It always jumps up and down.

I am not really on a diet, I eat as much as I want, but I only eat healthy foods.

What routine would you guys suggest for getting big, and what would you suggest for toning back down again. I probably should have bulked before but oh well.

Well, time to go pop some corn…

You motherfuckers just don’t get it…

Wow! You are brave brother.

OK, i really believe you should spend more time reading the articles. There is no such thing as a “toning” routine. Gaining mass, and losing fat are more about diet then anything. And at 5"11 and 150lbs, you can just focus on a clean bulking diet, and id find a good pre-made program from this site, not some “get tone” routine from bodybuilding.com . I would suggest ABBH, TBT, WS4SB, and possible HSS-100 since you enjoy a bodybuilding split. Although HSS-100 is an advanced program, it doesnt actually have that much volume. To find the articles describing the routines, just go to the seartch button at the top of the page and put in the routine. As far as diet, look at anything written by Dr. Berardi, and i suggest you look at “in defense of massive eating”.

Best of luck, and go ahead and post more pictures when you get to 185, no sooner.

Do these people even read before they post?? esp with a pic! toning??!

I’d rather the mods allow the granny porn to get posted than shit like this.

Which SAYS: “In particular, if you have some definition because you are very lean but have not yet built any significant amount of muscle, then please think twice before posting your photo.”

You should first cut down to about 130 lbs. After the cut you’ll really be able to put on some muscle.

Stop eating immediately.

Toning routine? haha sounds like something they would say at a Curves

This has to be someone else playing a terrifying joke on us. I think some people from other boards just come over here and makes these posts, stating all the things that T-Nation users find irritating, just to play us. It has to be.

That isn’t to say that there isn’t an obvious trend of these idiots in real life. I just doubt their thoughts/actions would lead them here.

god dammit.

Get some food in you, lift heavy, and post again in 4 years.

Those aren’t abs, those are your ribs.
