Can anyone give me a few examples of day 5 vertical exercises besides dips and chins ?

handstand push up.
push press. press. push jerk
lat pulldown.

Standing or seated Military presses with a barbell or dbs. Also, you can incorporate different hand/shoulder positions (e.g. palms facing each other, or palms facing forward).

Any incline bench press with an angle greater than 45 degrees is considered vertical pressing in my book.

The upright row is a good pulling exercise in the vertical plane.
