I’ve read on here a lot that the key to abs is a good diet. What would you reccomend. I’m 6’ 165 and am trying to bulk right now also.

They are not. Unless you’re starting at 3% bodyfat and your abs continue to show as you add muscle and approach 10% bodyfat. If you don’t see them now, and you’re serious about adding appreciable muscle, you need to reevaluate your goals. Plenty of time for abs.

Read some of Berardi’s articles. That will get you started.
If you want to properly bulk and still maintain a decent body fat just concentrate on eating lots of clean food. Fruits, vegetables, whole wheats, lean meat, etc. You will gain some fat, there’s not much getting around that.
But like I said, read Berardi’s articles.
