Hell yeah! It should be cool. I’m looking forward to some major ass kicking. Go Predator!
i’m with the preditors as long as they keep their masks on. but you do realise, we will perish no matter who wins MUHAHAHAHAH. ok, a little dramatic.
HAHAHA sounds KICK arse. Why dont we get it in England…
Absolutely dying to see it!!!
jonboy,
A vs P WILL be released here in england, but the release date has not been confirmed,i would ecpect us to be a month or so later than the US release
I think you’re all wrong…the alien/predator hybrid will rule the world. (Is it just me, or are the scientists in these movies absolutely mental. “Hey lets combine the two best killing machines and see what happens!”) It’ll be interesting to see how well this movie does since it’s based on a video game.

Hybrid??? I thought the movie was supposed to be about the Alien(s) in a war fighting against the Predator(s) on Earth,
I think I’m lost here.
I’ve been waiting for this movie for years … the aliens will win hands down they are freaking killing machines w/ acid for blood . Is sigourney weaver making an “appearance”? I loved the clip showing thousands of aliens coming up the hill man…its going to be unruly

I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure there were several Alien vs Predator comic series(Dark Horse Comics) before there was a video game.
In any event, I’m interested in seeing it but it is so easy for comic adapted movies to turn out horrible.
Hell Yes! I have loved the Alien movies since the orginal back in 79. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) was the first woman I saw as a kick ass, fearless, leader type, whom I would follow into combat without hesitation. The original Predator was kick ass, as well. I am going to have to go with the Alien, a ruthless acid bleeding killing machine as the victor!

Tomorrow at 12.
The CGI looks sort of crap. In one of the commercials, you see a horde of aliens running up the side of a pyramid – and the lighting is completely fucked up. (Apparently, aliens do not cast shadows on one another.) But I’m really fussy about this sort of thing, so just because I gripe about lighting and surface albedo doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the movie.
I am not expecting much of a plot. I do, however, expect to see lots of nifty menacing shots of aliens and predators; a nice, solid, superhero-style fight scene or three with the combatants hurling each other all over the room and breaking shit; and some interesting new details about alien/predator cultures and lifecycles. As long as I get that, I’m happy.
I’ve got a couple friends who think it would rule to see an army of aliens and predators, but after the battle of Minas Tirith in The Two Towers, cinematic mass combat has got to hit a REALLY high bar to impress me.

I bet they don’t make a true victor. I imagine something like this. It looks like the predators win and just as the movie is ending they show some alien eggs open up. I still want to see this.
I too am very excited that this movie finally made it to the big screen.
On a side note if the predators were real I would thoroughly enjoy fighting one of them in a NHB format, to bad its just a dream.
I for one think the predator’s are going to kick the aliens ass’s.
The director has ruined every script they’ve given him. Even if it’s a good story, it’s going to be told badly.
Resident Evil (2002)
Soldier (1998)
Event Horizon (1997)
Mortal Kombat (1995)
All good or OK movies. But not one of them is great.

Jordan
i was stoked to watch avp until i found out it was pg13
only comedies can get away with being pg13.
Saw the movie last night. It was better than I expected. The graphics were great and made the monsters much more impressive (the matrix-style shot of a face-hugger flying through the air was pretty cool). The aliens moved much faster and more fluidly than in any of the previous movies. The new predator weaponry was fun as well. Overall, it was a good action flick.

My bad man, I thought the movie would follow the game a bit more. In the game, researchers combined the two species. In truth, the movie only borrowed a few names and ideas from the game.
I too LOVED Resident Evil. I think the next one comes out next month? The box office will definatley be getting some cash from me that day! Long live Zombie Movies!!!
