A-R-T Therapy

I’ve been having minor pain with my left shoulder, most likely rotator cuff issues. I’ve tried rotator cuff exercises and taking time off lifting, but I think it’s time to get some professional help.

I live in Nashville and I called up one ART guy. He is charging 125 for the first visit and 85 for each additional visit. Too much? Some people have said good things about ART, but for those who have had it, tell me you opinions of it. Thanks.

I have an ART guy in Dallas, about an hours drive away. I’ve gone to him since 2001, everything from shoulder tendonitis to a myriad of back trouble from tight hip flexors to car accident whiplash. I used to compete in powerlifting from '01 to '03 then went back to school. He’s worked miracles on my back.

In fact I once had a pretty serious injury about 2 weeks before a meet and he fixed me in 1 visit, set an 11 pound PR on deadlift the next meet. He was $20 when I had insurance, now he’s $75 w/o. He’s worth every penny but now I use him a bit less now. I don’t know other ART providers but some of his other customers drive longer to see him rather than their local guy. Go check it out.
Good luck

In LA, visits are around $75 each. Given that Nashville has a lower cost of living, your guy’s prices seem a bit high.

Is he a D.C.? A lot of chiropractors accept insurance for ART.

Oh, start training your scapula muscles to prevent further injury.

He is a dc, but said insurance would probably not cover it. I don’t have insurance anyways. I’ll try one visit and see if he can give me results. There were only two art providers on the art website. Thanks for the replies.
