Can’t blame this workout on beer. Gave up after l0 minutes trying to get comfortable under squat bar despite doing the designated exercises. Forsee garage SSB squats before going to gym on squat days.

OG, still got 300+ 5 rep deads in sight, just not today.

This week has been absolute hell. Property taxes, wife’s pushing for last minute January South American cruise, need new passport because “one has to have a passport good 6 months after time one boards an international flight from US”. So, that’s solved with a 4 digit payment to expedite the new passport to me, what a racket. I was thinking about returning via Mexican border but can’t board an international flight from the US as per above quoted part.
Then there’s the job front. Nobody seems to be cooperating on anything except one scumbag (with former, comparable attorney) I’m suing whose new attorney in his opening phone call offered exactly what my client wants to settle. Then there’s the 8 hours of seminar yesterday and also round two resuming in 2 hours. Haven’t heard any earth moving substantive stuff
this year. On the frilly side, one lawyer (who the state bar association actually pays) told us the incredible percentages of lawyers in my state who have alcohol/drug problems and who seek help from bar programs. She blames stress in the practice, so it was a “feel good” lecture about destressing.

My gym work really pays off.

Crippler, this is one of my few ventings. No blood pressure problems, halfway to 74, my law partner and I fight about 3 times a month. I know I’m blessed with incredibly good health; still plan to buy beer on way home.

I need to get back to the Philippines before July 2022 because this passport runs out in Jan 2023 and I stay over 6 months. Wife and I both got the PreTSA done ($85 for 5 years or if you have enough flight mileage you can pay with that.) Really helps. No taking off shoes, belt, removing laptops, etc.

Thanks for the tip. I think wife has the PreTSA thing because she flies a lot.

Here’s a tip back at you. I learned in my seminar yesterday that the government gives up to $9000 for the funeral of citizen dying of COVID. I think it can be paid for awhile after the funeral.
