How’d the smith machine front squats work? Been thinking of giving those a try.
hel320, For front squats my “shoulder trough” holding the bar is adequate as long as I push bar hard into my Adam’s apple and place thumbs appropriately. Smith machine relieves that discomfort. Just got to keep bar hooks far enough off the holding pins. Quads are already big, but front squatting adds variety.
I see the difference in leg strength from my 50s.
