1/24/17 First day back in gym since August

Leg day

Squats 3 x 5 @ 135, 200, 225 (had to use the warmup weight as first set since 225 felt really heavy. Jeez)

Lying Leg press machine, 5 x 10 @ 225; then some nameless incline leg machine on which I formerly did 400+ for reps, this time 5 x 15 @ 135.

l0 minutes on stair master machine.

Feel great. Really great.

Yay on being back in the gym. Those 100 rep leg presses will be back in no time! You have played this game a long time. You know nothing happens overnight. I personally feel 225 is certainly not awful at this point.

Damn it man! Don’t be so hard on yourself.

A restart workout since I hurt my lower back last week. Back’s fine now.

Tate press (experimenting) 3 x 10 @ 20, 30, 30\

Another dumbbell bench press where squeeze both together 3 x 10 @ 30

Flye machine 3 x 10 @ 80, 100, 130

stairmaster 8 minutes, sanuna 5 minutes (bad cold)

Still getting used to gym, still amazingly weak. Numbers should eventually increase.

Nice leg work. My daughter it dealing with the lung thing now too. It made tennis practice yesterday miserable.

2/14/17 chest

bench 3 x 5 @ 135, 155, 185 (185 actually seemed heavy. !@#$%)
dumbbell bench 5 x 10 w/50s
rows 5 x 15 @ 160 (a chest pad kind of machine w/free weights, no stress on back)
8 min on treadmill with separate treads.

Ok workout, just surprised how weak I am presently. That has to change.

deadlifts 3 x 5 @ 135, 185, 235 (first time since early September)

machine pullovers 5 x 10 @ 100 up to 160

good mornings 5 x 10 @ 95 (first time in over 40 years)

Steamed 6 minutes. Still slight cough to cure.
