6 Weeks to Shed some Fat

I’m off on a beach holiday in 6 weeks and want to get rid of some fat before going. Currently I train 3 days a week on a 3 x 5 program - squat, shoulder press or dips (no bench) and pull ups or deadlift. Warm up with jumprope, finish with suitcase carries.

Training wise, I thought I might add a couple of days doing barbell complexes and try to have a brisk walk as many days as possible.

Diet - going to try and concentrate on protein, fruit & vegetables and cut back on carbs and alcohol.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice or suggestions?

Only way to cut, IMO. Attack it with ferocity!

I’m starting Rapid Fat Loss per Lyle’s handbook today, actually. It won’t be fun, but I’m sure it will be effective.

Losing 1 lb / week with a “reasonable” plan was too slow.

You know whats weird the first time I tried it, about a year ago it was honestly a breeze. I had hunger pains once in a while but, nothing extreme. I lost 7 lbs total. I tried it a couple times not to long ago and I could not get past day 3. It was hell.
