Might be a stupid nit picking question, but are all the warmups done for 5 reps instead of 5/5/3?
Warm ups are warm ups man. So how many you need to actually warm up, and then do the “work sets” for 5 reps.
I would say it depends how difficult the 5’s work sets will be. If you aren’t struggling to get the reps on the last few sets (I haven’t done 5’s pro but it appeared this should be the case) then do 5s on all warmups too.
I didn’t think it would make a difference.
What’s wrong with 5/5/3? Or the NOV way?
