531 for Bodybuilding


Jim, plan on using the bodybuilding template from your website for a few cycles. I follow the 3 days a week program from your 2nd edition 531 book. The 3 days a week ( hitting a movent/part once directly every 8 or 9 days) is that ok to use with the bodybuilding template? Or should that style be more frequent?

Also, with this template I thought I read somewhere that we should only do the required reps on the 531 movement is that accurate?


It will be fine - the key to making muscles grow is breaking them down and recovery. So it looks like you have the “breaking it down” part covered - now you have to learn how to recover.
