Just started my 5/3/1 Triumvirate cycle today and had a few questions. I added a FSL set at the end of my 5/3/1 sets. Is that okay to do? And I only did 3x10 on my accessories. I know I’m supposed to do 5x10 but my muscles were burnt out today. I want to get to the point where I can do both for 5x10. Am I screwing myself over by not doing the 5x10? Thanks!
No problem with any of that. After a couple of weeks you’ll be able to nail it as written.
why? I would drop them for now and learn to just give everything on the 531/top set
If really want to do ‘extra’ then after a few weeks add 20 mins beach work to one session per week
Yeah do the 5x10, its only two exercises for accesory work -deliberately minimalist stuff. Unless you have terrible conditioning just need to suck it up for a couple of weeks and you’ll adapt.
