I am currently doing a modified version of 5/3/1 and I am also bulking. Because of my current health situation it is next to impossible to get in the 4000 calories i need. However, I got invited to join a basketball league which will probably be games once or twice a week. My question is about how many more calories will I need to gain weight while playing ball as well? I don’t want to lose and size at all. Thanks
You will need a ton o calories to gain weight while simultaneously playing in a basketball league.
Due to your health situation, I would suggest just trying to maintain weight until the season is over, as bulking places a lot o stress on the body.
You realize only you can answer this, right? The number of calories it takes to not lose size… is how many calories you need to not lose size.
