45-Degree Extensions?

I don’t have access to a reverse hyper machine or GHR bench. Can the 45-degree extension be useful?

It’s still trunk extension, which will work primarily the lower back. If you can scoot your hips/pelvis above the pad, so they can rotate as well, that would bring some glute work into the motion.

The best way I’ve been able to “re-create” a reverse hyper is to set a Swiss ball on a flat bench, lay on top of the ball, grip the bench, and lift my legs.
