40 Pounds to Lose

Hello I need your help. I want to lose 40 pounds by January 1st. I am 6’1 275 and muscley. I have a huge belly and Spare tire(You may have seen one these before) I wrestled and played College football at 225 so 235 by January would look decent.

I plan to work out with the HIT method twice a week upper and lower on different days. Mentzer’s old plan which I wish I would have know about when I was 20 (2 1/2hour split routines 6 days a week) I killed myself overtraining.
I am going to do cardio 6 days a week. Power 90 (Don’t laugh I lost 40 pounds in 2003 with it. That is set in stone regardless of what you advise because I know I can do that.

Question is, What do I eat??? 9 cans of Tuna a day??? What do you suggest???

I am taking Glutamine, Creatine, Tribulus terrestris, Syntrax, and Methoxy 500 EX

Your advice would be apeciated!!!

The New V-Diet Test Drive

I normally follow the T-Dawg diet. I find that it’s great for losing fat while supporting good workouts (it doesn’t make you feel weak- higher calories, high protein). I believe at the end of the article are lists of “good foods”. Generally to lose fat while maintaining muscle, you want to eat higher protein (eggs, tuna, chicken, shakes, etc), good fats (flax/fish oil supplements, natural almond/peanut butter, etc), complex carbs (oatmeal, brown rice, etc).

If your up for a challenge, check out the velocity diet. You can lose a lot of fat quickly on it, if you stick it out and follow it carefully. You might have to cut your workouts back a bit though or else you get burnt out (on this diet). A good combination is to do the V-diet followed by the T-dawg.

V-Diet. I am starting today. Had my walk, coffe and first shake. Maybe go to the T-Dawg later if I can handle the measuring logging etc. I can do this V-diet thing. I would pot a picture but if you have tires around your neihborhood you’l get the idea.
