40 Embarrassing Things America is Best At!

.

When I was a kid, I couldn’t wait to leave Canada and move somewhere WARM like Florida or Texas or California.

The last 10 years, I’ve been all over America, and to be honest, I live in Canada and no longer plan to leave

America has gone from a country of fearless entrepreneurs and optimists to a bunch of shell-shocked, frightened people. Everything is about FEAR: Fear gay marriage is going to ruin society, fear of terrorism (how many people die of terrorism vs a common cold…), fear of Mexicans stealing jobs (wasn’t America made great by hard-luck immigrants?), fear of other Americans because they come from the ghetto, fear of the dissolution of government and the need to stockpile ammo and dry rations, fear of change in general, fear of being honest with oneself (no princess, you’re not special, get off the prozac).

I love visiting the states and stimulating the economy. But damn, I’m so happy every single time I return to Canada. Say what you want about socialism, I’d rather live in a country where people live and let you be as long as you don’t harm others. 40% tax bracket, fine, it’s not perfect, but I’m a big fan of turning on the news and seeing NEWS, not FEAR and HATE.

So I’m just going to keep taking my trips 2-3x a year to the states, hitting the outlets for cheap stuff, seeing the big cities and imagining what they must have been like when America was the place to be. Sorry America, you were once my dream, but not any more. You can keep your Patriot Act and your No Child Left Behind and other assorted bullshit, since 2001, you’ve totally lost your mojo. You’re just a playground now, and it’s a shame most of your citizens are too busy with their iPhones, Taco Bell Supreme Anal Explosions and NFL teams to care.

Lol at all you yanks getting up tight about this haha. A normal person would look at the article, realise it’s bullshit and out of context and just laugh it off.

All of those listed items appear to be sociopolitical issues… but most deaths by reptiles? Woopee.

Seems like a very biased opinionated article.

#4. How is this number accurate. Average American drinks 2 sodas a day? Seems like a lot to me, I have about 30-35 people I would consider close to me wether family/friends/associates/business partners/co-workers/etc. And after consideration there isn’t a single person I can think of that would average 2 sodas a day, every day.
I can kill 8-10 sodas a day. They don’t much give statistical explanation.
Can and actually Do are two different things. This article leads to the fact that Americans Do consumer 600 sodas a year.
I go through two 20 packs of sodas a week, none on Sunday or Saturday (maybe one at lunch) so 40/5 = 8/day.

Admittedly its Coke Zero, but that is only a recent change.

You mean, unless you are a religious conservative (Jewish, muslim, or Christian) and dare express from the pulpit (or whatever) in your church/shul/mosque to your congregation that your religion considers homosexuality a sin, in which case you will be arrested.

Only a certain kind of freedom is permitted in Canada.

Nope.

Black dude is in the car. She is holding off her Klan Leader Sherif Husband.

Sadly, all I notice is she’s holding the shotgun incorrectly.

(Bring the butt up into the shoulder FIRST, elbow DOWN, then engage the trigger finger.)

Maybe I’ve gotten shot at too many times.
