In Beyond 5/3/1 it says 5/3/1 sets and reps for the 2x2x2 training schedule. Does it mean 1x5, 1x3, 1x1 or something else?

It means the normal 531 scheduel
Week 1 - 5, 5, 5
Week 2 - 3, 3, 3
Week 3 - 5, 3, 1

BTW 1+ dosent mean 1 or 2 it means 5 strong reps. If that number starts to come down to 4 or even 3 by cycle 4/5 thats ok its getting time for a reset but if that 1+ is a 1 or a 2 on cycle 1 or 2 your training max is set too high.
