Knees still screwed up. :frowning:

Got 2 goals and 2 assists

:frowning:

It’s been a few weeks on the knees hasn’t it? Anything specifically bother them?

It’s been a lot of weeks. :frowning:

Still trying to sort out what’s going on with them.

You still alive and walking at least?

Well… I’m not the Walking Dead… lol

Knees are slowly improving, doing ROM box squats with no load helps a lot.

They felt good enough tonight for 4 goals in my Wednesday night hockey skate.

A new PR for me on the ice.

Knees are still, well, fucked.

I’m able to to hit depth in squats again but only with the bar.

The white bench on the last Wdenesday night hockey has now resorted to:

Double-teaming me
Blatant interference
Blatant hooking

To try to prevent me from scoring.

I still got one in the back of the net

State Games of America occurred here over the last weekend.

Ended up refereeing six hockey games for it, Four of them on Sunday.

Two games back to back, then an hour and 15 minute break.

Then two more back to back.

I iced my knees during the break.

Survived the last day of Hockey Skills camp.

The white bench ended my scoring streak last night.

6 weeks straight with getting at least a goal was a new record for me.

Celebrating my 53rd birthday today…

Happy belated birthday. Did you get cake and balloons?

No.

My ex wouldn’t let me see my kids on my birthday.

So I went out to play hockey and go have some drinks.

Got a goal in a scrimmage with a bunch of really good, fast players.

I ended up with plenty of beer while I was out.

I’m sorry, my friend had a stressful birthday too the other day, had to cheer her up.

Sorry about your friend. Life can suck at times, but friends make things better.

In other news, the white bench blatantly cheated and I still got a point tonight.

Busy with 35 year HS reunion this weekend. And I have my end of the Skills camp game with Pro and Collge players.

It will be a busy, fun weekend!

Update:

Survived the weekend.

One of two Joe players on my team to score a goal in the Pro’s vs Joe’s game.

Knees still cycling between improvement and setbacks.

Pic from the Pro’s vs Joe’s game. #18 behind me is Chris Wilkie, USHL/University of North Dakota and drafted by the Florida Panthers. He’s the son of the coach of Omaha AAA, Dave Wilkie.

Knees still limitng my functionality.

Trying to sort out a routine to help them recover, because I have I have 5-6 hours of skating this weekend in a hockey tournament here in town.
