I’m used to it.
Dude. That’s so crazy I can’t imagine doing this, not only from a strength aspect, but everything else. My shoulders/hands/elbows would be on absolute fire for holding a barbell on my back this long.
Animal dude. Straight animal.
No kidding dude. Makes me not want to even log my squats
Pretty sure he is using an SSB, which makes it easier on the shoulders, but is absolute brutal for the mid back. For sure harder than a barbell.
you can do it too, if it’s all you did.
I envy that list of stuff you have going all the time. Seems more like real training.
So it wasn’t enough that he was squatting that much weight for 20 reps, he had to use a SSB what a show off
It’s definitely not how I normally train. Hiring that coach has been (so far) one of the better things I’ve done training wise.

My man! 510x2 (PR), way to go!
With an SSB? I have done 507 in wraps (so cheating). I am a ways off from that on SSB without wraps (like 100 lbs). Good work man!
Damn son
yes with ssb.
2 down. 1 to go.
Been hard headed and keep getting stapled by 405. Maybe I should just go for 390 like I was supposed to.
Man, the psyche portion of “big” lifts can really get me. I will now shot for 5 lbs under the next big plate load. I had a huge mental thing with the 500 lb deadlift (not a plate increment, but a milestone many think of). My previous PR was 475, and I kept failing 500, so I figured let’s try 485, then 495. After getting those first time, I had confidence in 500. Same with 315 on bench. Previous PR was 300. Kept failing 315. So I did 305, then 310. After those the next time I tried 315, I had it. A couple weeks later I did 330. It was there, just not mentally. With the deadlift, 5-6 months later I pulled 550. I probably had it for a while, just not in my head.
Nice work on the PR!!
We are only half way through the month… I’d say go for 390. Tick that box and then go for 405
Nice work on the squat PR mate. You are killin it in here.
