I’m a huge lifelong Steelers fan…even have an AB jersey. However, I’m actually happy to see him go. Between Ben, Bell and AB, there were too many clashing egos in that locker room and I really do think it affected the on-field product. Sometimes addition by subtraction is a real thing. Like others have said, Bell held out (in the end for less) and the team didn’t miss a beat with Conner. Their O-line is the real reason for the offense’s success. At the end of the day, regardless of the team, organization, job etc. if you don’t want to be there it’s better for you and everyone else if you just leave. A lifetime of watching sports has taught me that NO player, coach or manager is irreplaceable.

I don’t even think he sat out as a tactic against the Steelers. He was just throwing a fit and making it known that his services were available for purchase by the highest bidder.
