So is anybody as shocked to see how much norms and society has shifted in the last 10 years?
Honestly, I was pretty young 10 years ago and I never thought that 10 years later society would be as abysmal as it is now. It’s not just “bad”, it’s laughably bad. Demonstrably bad.
There are a lot of things I honestly just checked out of because they changed to much, to quickly, (often for the worst). I miss the 90’s and 2000’s and the simplicity.
In the 90’s: “Wow things have gotten so much worse. All these flannel-wearing slobs and people on their fancy IBM machines. The 70’s were so much better”
In the 70’s: "These bell-bottom wearing buffoons listening to their devil’s rock-n-roll music! The 50’s were soo much better.
On T-Nation in the 2040’s: “These stupid hover-board riding fools. I miss the simplicity of Twitter and texting. The 2020’s were so much better and simpler”
Remember in 2005 or so when house prices started rising exponentially and banks were throwing money around like drunken trust fund babies?
Then like, a couple years later everything went kaput and banks went under and everybody lost their overpriced houses and the too big to fail corps. got big bailouts…
Its like that one guy said “Those who blah blah history are yadda yadda yadda.” or something.
Yeah, if your not a complete idiot and haven’t been under a rock for the last 10 years that is by far the best “summary” of the situation on the ground.
