2007 Lifting Goals

Bench 300lbs by july(at 240 right now)
squat 405lbs by july(335 right now)
deadlift 385lbs by july(325 right now).

What are your goals?

Bench 365 2x
Squat 405 2x A2G
Deadlift 500

all at <210 bw

I was thinking of starting a thred like this but since you beat me to it.
Bench 365 (now 265)
Squat 405 with good form (now 315 with pretty shity form)
Deadlift 405 (now 335)

I would also like to be able to run two miles in 15 minutes, and get some nice developement in the midsection. Oh, I would also like to weigh in at 205 (now 196) with 10% BF. Well that is a lot; I better get started.

It would be nice if we all kept up with this thread and keep it updated.

BP x2bw (now 330lbs, to get:396)

B:245/315
SQ: 405/500
DL: 440/660!!!

Body weight: 200 > 180 March > 210 Agusts

Currently 14 years old, Ill be 15 and a few months for those goals.

Bring on that DL, just gotta do some serious grip strength stuff, I know I got that 660 in me. AND ITL BE RAW!

bench 250-210 now
squat 300-245 now
dead 350-250 now (315 off the rack at knee level)

these are 5 rep max’s.

Jan 2008, I want to be as lean as I am now, at a steady, easily maintained 220lbs at LEAST… with

18 inch arms/calves thats 1.5 inches in a year on both so I’m shooting for the sky lol

405lb benchpress from 360
600lb deadlift from 545
495 x 5 squat from 405 x 8, 10 on a good day

It is so awesome to think back at the goals I set for myself last year and how I said that I was “shooting for the sky” back when I made those goals, and now I have passed them all.

atleast 500 DL and 450 squat @ 148

THIS YEAR I WILL ACCOMPLISH:
Squat 680 currently 630
Bench 480 currently 440
Deadlift 660 currently 605
This is good for a 1820 Total.

And the other crap like money, love children all those things that get you distracted from your goals.

Bench 405 (now 370)
PL Squat 625 (now 575)
OL Squat 450 (now 407)
Deadlift 625 (now 575)
Power Snatch 120kg (now 105)
Power Clean 140kg (now 125)
Jerk 160kg (now 140)
Compete in 6 events (PL, OL, and Strongman)
Go from 249lbs. @ 21%BF, to 235 @ <15%

That’s why I like to set my goals high that way when I go past them I get that boost of enthusiasim. Nice lifts by the way. Why can’t I find workout partners like you guys. I’ve never had a partner that wants to work as hard as I do.

bench 260 to 315
Squat 385 to 420
Dead 360 to 405
powerclean 225 to 250

have to start eating clean. and do well in school.

Those are great lifts for a 14 year old. Congrats!

Squat 450 from 350
Deadlift 485 from 385
Powerclean 295 from 355

And no, I don’t think I’ll be able to do those, but why aim intentionally low just so i can said I met my goals?

Snatch 264 (from 253)
Clean and Jerk 352 (from 330)

Bench 315 (from 300)
Squat 440 (from 418)

Not trying to start anything, just wanted to make sure he really is 14. If he is, good job! If not, o well…

Bench - 225 by next summer / 245 by end of 2007 . at 190/195 now .

Squat - 375 by end of 2007 . last PR at 305 .

Deadlift - 375 by end of 2007 . last PR at 300 .

Bodyfat- sub 18% …preferably around 15 %

not sure how reasonable these are , as I dont know yet how quickly I gain muscle/strength . un-tested PR’s as of last spring were approximately 150 on Bench , and 200 on the Squat and Deads . one out-of-shape SOB I was…haha . still room to improve
