20 Repetition Squat Weight

I think it’s psychological.

You hear “1-5” and you think “oh, I’ll be done soon!” Then once you reach “5”, you reset and your mind continues to think the same.

But thinking “15”? You’ll probably think “Oh God! When is this over!@#!@#@!”

The weight really depends on how much endurance strength you have, how often you squat for high rep, etc. If you are talking about breathing squats (from the 20 rep squat program/squats and milk) It’s about 60% of your squat max, or around your 10 rep max. For me, busting out 20 reps with a weight that I could squat for 15 reps is fucking horrific since I haven’t squatted more than 6 reps in a set (even that is rather infrequent) in at least three months.
